Staff Spotlight: JD Walker

Help us congratulate JD Walker on being selected as the Bus Driver of the Month by First Community Bank! We are proud to celebrate JD and the many ways he serves Nettleton Public Schools.

Since joining the district in July 2022, JD has worn many hats, including Director of Mental Health Services, F.I.T. (Families in Transition) Liaison, Wellness Committee Chair, and bus driver!

When asked what he loves most about his job, JD shared that he enjoys building relationships while helping others. He also appreciates that his many roles make each day a little different!

As a proud Nettleton Class of 2000 graduate who spent his entire academic career as a Raider, JD says #RaiderPride means growing and adapting to whatever life brings while knowing you never have to do it alone.

Thank you, JD, for your dedication to our students, families, and staff! Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
